Nice! I saw it briefly at what was probably the peak (all oranges and reds), it was pretty epic! Thanks for sharing these.

where are you going on this cruise? if it's super scenic, once-in-a-lifetime, then i'd endeavor to bring the gear.

but if it's somewhere you've been before, and you're just looking to relax, and spend quality time with the family/friends/company and leisure time taking some snaps, then shoulder bag and 2-lenses is more than plenty.

you want the trip to be fun for you, but you also want to make sure you're not ruining other people's fun by slowing them down with the camera gear. (that is unless whoever you're traveling with is ultra-supportive of your photography.)

We are going on the Rock legends cruise from Florida to Turks & Caicos. Royal Caribbean never been on that cruise line or down there. My in-laws go every year. I was also reading on their website and looks like they aren't dslr friendly an board. Could be because of all the bands that will be there.

That is great and so is the one with file name ending 2166 (saw on your flickr). This 6th street photo will be a great historic image once it's replaced.

Thanks Scott, luckily it was last year before the rains came when I could stand almost in the middle of the river. Not in the water tho!

RIP David Bowie. So sad, he still had lots of life in him.

Nope, this is my buddy's Cadillac (ca. 1962, IIRC)
