Jan 08, 2016 21:05 | #845 A photo of a small whitetail buck taken this afternoon. Like most photography in these parts this time of the year, a cloudy, dark, overcast day. All in all, it didn't turn out to bad. Pretty high ISO for my camera. Will be fun to take a few pics with this lens when there is some nice light.

Jan 10, 2016 16:39 | #851 First time out shooting after receiving the dock and having the C1 set to maximize the focus speed and OS. Not at all unhappy with the results. 05Xrunner Goldmember, Flipflopper. ![]() More info | Jan 10, 2016 21:11 | #852 So I was hoping to get some use out of my lens this weekend. I forgot about there has been a nesting eagles like 10min from my house for past few years. So i went over yesterday morning to see if I can get any shots. So the few photographers there told me they flew out at 730am and havnt been back yet. So I waited for an hour and then left to come back to my car to see someone broke into it..WTF was a total fail of a day. Luckily they only broke a small vent glass in the rear door and nothing was in the car just made a mess of papers. I am glad I decided to leave my bag at home and just take my body and lens and not leave the bag in the car of my other gear My gear

Jan 12, 2016 03:14 | #853 A weekend in Norfolk testing out new camera bodies reminded me just how awesome the lens actually is. Almost dusk and light had dropped hugely, and massive crop here. That you can make out any details is something of a surprise as the owl was over 500metres away and flying erratically.

The snow and inversion just don't want me seeing the full potential of this glass I guess. Anyhow, here's one of the best I've been able to get with it snowing. ![]() ![]() ![]() 6D . Gripped 60D .
