FWIW, I don't consider ISO 1600 to be a high ISO with the 7D2, assuming the shot is not underexposed. Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Unfortunately if the camera has a good battery, the battery contacts are OK, and shows no power, then it needs to go in for service. I used to work in electronics service and people would bring in their radios and TVs that were dead and suggest that it was the switch or a tube (back in tube days). That's because those were the only parts they knew about. In truth they had no idea. So nobody knows if is the PCB or the ABC of your camera and it makes no difference anyway because it will need to go in for service. Unless it comes back by itself spontaneously and mysteriously! That sometimes happens. Worrying in any case.

Which means it needs a trip back to the Canon mothership. ![]() My previous 1DX crapped out too, but that was after 3 years. But I had some minor symptoms for about 6-12 months leading up to it until it started really acting up for 2-weeks. (And then it took 3-trips back to Canon before they were willing to replacement.)
