Malik Monk back in action for Bentonville HS Tigers. He will be playing at Kentucky next year. Ended the night with 32 points. Next week the high school will be playing on ESPN U against El Dorado, AR. They have another stud, that will be going to the University of Arkansas. Shot with Canon 5D3 and 70-200 f2.8.

He was in the Memphis area last weekend and I was covering the tournament he played at. East High gave him fits and all but shut him down. He is and will continue to be a great player but he was truly frustrated that night. He lost his cool a few times and had to take a seat on the bench. I'll post some of him later. I bet he is a fun player to cover each week. Nice shots!

He has been having some nagging injuries the last few weeks. He hurt his shooting hand and turned his ankle pretty bad. He was in a walking boot a couple days prior to the Memphis game. I've seen a few bad days by him. That's scoring 20 instead of dropping 30 or 40+.

I have just the opposite here, the cheerleaders are on both sides of the paint. Under the basket is the only spot for me. In this case, it was the people. The Fire Marshall came in and had the Sheriffs make the people leave. Too many in the gym to see this game.
