I was lucky to be there

Love this angle, never been to the UK before. Wife just asked me if I want to go one day.

I tried to recreate the magic at a much longer focal length... but it seems plain. Maybe the lack of fog or PS skill.. any suggestion? I am thinking of trying this again at 30mm on a foggy night closer to the bridge and lower.

My thoughts for what they're worth,
-I like the angle of the first shot better, bridge is more prominent
-The fog really helps, the city is shrouded in mystery
-You captured the colors of the bridge nicely

I think i just like the bridge, lol. The red shininess and the shrouded background make great contrast and the scene appears surreal, sci-fi, CG, whatever. I would try to fix the distortion a little in PS but not worry too much about it. You captured the moment.

Also, I checked out Google's images cuz I wanted to see more of the bridge and your first picture blew everything else away, you should post it there too (don't know how). The second picture is more refined and proper but it doesn't have the feel of the first one.

PS, this is a stitched pano right? Did you use one of those fancy setups? I don't have one, but found when the final image is distorted, it sometimes helps to straighten each individual one and then stitch. Might be worth a try.

You should say 'yes'. Totally. Loved it and want to go again. Beautiful, photogenic country.
