I am at a total lose to what brand of Praying Mantis this is.
It is not a large one but it could well have been a baby one.
When it walked it looked like a Chameleon as its movements were jerky.
And its tail end was on the round arch as in the shot.

One shot was taken looking into the sun and the other wasn't.
So this is why the 2 shot look totally different from each other.

We went in for a meal while we were away and came back to see this little bugger on the roof of our car.
My camera was handy but not my macro lens. So I use my 18/55mm lens which was on.
Though I had to get in real close, so I think it will still count as a macro.
The little bugger had no fear as it just walked up to the camera and then right on to the lens which stopped more shots.
I liked him/her.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

Nice photos, I think it is not adult as it doesn't have any wings. I think all mantids have wings but I could be wrong.

I have got no idea and will take your word on that.
But it was a nice looking one so they say babies are cute, might be the same with baby insects
