I know this camera has been out a good bit, but I'm picking one up for my buddy to use as my new take-everywhere camera and I'd love to see what you guys have captured with it. I'll be using the 27 f/2.8 and 18-55mm f/2.8 lenses.

Honestly you could just look through any of the image threads in this section to get an idea of what the images from your X-E1 will look like. The sensor hasn't really changed significantly since the X-Pro1. I've owned the X-E1 and now own the X-E2 with the "X-Trans ii" sensor and the images are very similar (though I think slightly better in high ISO and slightly cooler colors).

Here's my album on flickr from my old X-E1 though if you want some specifically X-E1 samples, I also have lots of shots from my X-E2 in my photostream (but not in this album).

I don't have anything organized by albums on Flickr, so I put together a variety of X-E1 images taken with the 18-55 lens (except the first one, which is with the Samyang 12mm). Some more processed than others but, as Everyday Getaway points out, X cameras all share a similar image quality and characteristic.

No problem! It's a great camera. I sold mine when I bought my a7S and missed it so much that I bought an X-E2 to replace it :)

Little sign in my local coffee bar, that place is a goldmine of opportunity for photos.
Lit with a small angle poise led that they use to shine light on the exit of one of their grinders, sneakily turned to point at the sign, hehehe.
