Just curious if anyone know exactly what this is? Appears to be some sort of video attachment device being used with an iPhone.

Saw a guy using it an NBA game and been meaning to ask...Googled around a bit but didn't stumble on to it.

...handheld stabilizer for video? didn't see this device last time I was inside the store but a tried a similar item that is motorized, I thought it was a waste of time and money.

I also tried most of the stabilizers for mobile devices in the store including the glidecam style stabilizer and steadicam versions, I find it also to be a waste of money!

on the other hand, the steadicam Merlin, which I have and use for DSLR camera and canon video g series cameras with accessories mounted is great!

It is the Osmo, a new device from DJI the drone manufacturer. I had a play with one, really smooth video.
