I've never had to deal with snow, what do they do to the roads to creates stripes?

They spray a salt brine on the road before the storm hits. It makes the snow and ice melt more quickly. The spray is wet, of course, when first applied. But once it dries, the white appears due to the calcium magnesium acetate that is in solution.

All I want is just a little more than I'll ever have.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

Lol, good one CameraMan -- I was thinking the same thing here in North Carolina!

Glad you joined us, Ira -- and cool shot to start with!

Yes, Cameraman, you must be freezing! My niece and her family moved to outside Atlanta last fall. She was joking about the blizzard of 2016, sending us pictures of the dusting of snow on her deck. I responded by sending her pics of the 19" we got!

Things that make you go...huh?

I'm posting two things for this topic.

I never understand how people can just leave their trash behind?

Huh?!

After all the rain my husband and I went for a ride to check on things around the ranch and noticed a bunch of vultures on the side of a hill.
We went over to take a look and found an old cow had passed away. Something caught my eye on the rocks and I found the cows hooves on top of them.

Huh?!

I've never seen that before, but it looks like the vultures were picking at the hooves while on the rocks.
