The Trail Hotshot on the Kootenay Valley Railway is a very unique train. Once part of CP's southern mainline, most of which is now abandoned, this train has run as the hotshot since at least the 1950s - Probably longer! All the through freights and locals are now gone, leaving this as a heavy haul branchline with its single train.

Well worth clicking on the links to get a better view. Gorgeous shots! Glad i search for train threads and not rely just on the main one.

Not fully into trains though I do like to see the old steam loco's.
But I did like the looks of both shots posted here.
And came the to the point where I thought Number One held my attention much longer.
Love the country side that these were taken in also.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

Me too! Things get lost so easily in those huge threads.

Aussie1, I like the first one more, too. It took me a long time to get the processing right, and I feel really pleased with it.
