Beautiful Sikh Indian destination wedding from Moon Palace resort in Cancun, Mexico.
This was a 4-day event for me.
A few pictures bellow and more on the blog:

Absolutely love photographing South Asian weddings. The colors and all the dancing is so much joy to document.

Multiple days. Most of the images were taken at the Moon Palace. There were multiple receptions and religious ceremonies

Well done - I looked over the images from the link.

I have two comments:

1) it might be a style thing but i would like to see at least a few pictures with his eyes towards the camera - i think in every image he is looking away.

2) There is one image with her laying on the couch and he has what looks like a pretty dark expression on this face - not a fan of that expression - the colours / exposure are good

If you have the same picture with her making the heart with her hands in front of her eyes at F8 getting both in focus I think that would work better (although I do like your picture)

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Wow. What do you use to control the lighting during the reception? Those are fantastic.

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

Awesome work! I'm just outside of Toronto, and after shooting last weekend in -20 C, I'd love to travel as much as you seem to.

Nice set. Particularly like the big blue sky shots, did you use on camera fill flash for the guy on his own?

I had my honeymoon at the moon palace, about 10 years ago! Still on the same wife :p Good times :-D

Really? Especially in the confetti shot, it's really well balanced. Perhaps your wedding venue was just that well lit... but I find it a challenge (then again, I'm non-pro).

Are you shooting at very low ISO? I find a lot of photographers afraid to push their ISO dial and they are shooting receptions at iso 100-800. You can easily push it to 2500-4000 it's not going to be grainy.

You can also try bouncing the light to create larger and softer light source.

Was it busy at Moon Palace Resort 10 years ago? Every time I am there, it's all booked up. They also do a lot of weddings every single day - crazy!

I try to minimize the use of flash as much as I can(mostly I am at 1/64 all day long). There's fill flash on some of them - always bounced, if shot inside or straight up for some outside shots. Sometimes sessions take place at noon and flash is needed to fill some shadows.
