A flash head (not strobe) was shot through a 2x3 silk for key, and another flash through a diffusion panel for complementary fill. Sources were captured in separate frames for layering. I'm always inspired by the Nordstrom catalog: these pieces are posed on watercolor paper from Blick to avoid brighteners. Canon, Nikon, Contax, Leica, Sony, Profoto.
