Shot some track this last weekend. I shoot for the University of Alberta hence the predominance of their athletes. Pretty cramped for shooting as there seem to be officials and athletes everywhere. Had fun though.

Nice shots. At ISO 12800 how are you processing these so they are so clear? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. I use Noiseware Professional set at "weaker noise". Works pretty well.

great shots.

#3 is interesting, the gal on the left looks like a spectator who is on the track! Just her appearance with a different style uniform, earrings, no visible bib number, etc. Actually kind of funny. I didn't know athletes were allowed to wear jewelry? I assume this is an event in Canada, so perhaps its different than NCAA.

Nice shots.

Yes she has an interesting running costume. She does have a number (not visible) on her right thigh. This event, while run under the auspices of the Canadian Inter-University Sport (CIS) association, is open to competitors outside of universities to up the numbers and competitive quality.

Straight up wow shots from the beginning to the end.
Loved how close you go in on these shots.
I am now looking at you and knowing that just through your shot you can help me.
So thanks so much for that.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

Beautiful collection of shots, great noise management and tack-sharp (given that these guys will have been moving at a decent speed).

To me they look a little green - but maybe I need to go & calibrate my monitor)
