I have to find some time to do a writeup like I did for the prior bodies. I clean up issues per color channel basically, each channel has its own challenges.

Is the individual channel CLEANUP in Lightroom, or PS? Not aware how to get individual channels for LR other than in Curves?

If I have to run any of my actions that operate on color channels, I am doing that in Photoshop. For several now, I only have to run a single noiseware action, and then 1 or 2 USM filters to sharpen and add contrast.

Yolo. :-) but, if isnt it reporting If it shows the right FL and aperture (700mm f8 on 2x)?

You might want to, ask on dpreview or FM whether others have circumvented the mfa w/ Kenko issue.

Thanks for the suggestion, What I mean for not reporting is when I download the picture it does not recognize that I have kenko tc attached like in Flickr. :)

It does shows correct aperture f5.6 with 1.4x and f8 with 2x and also shows FL accordingly.

It took 3 years for a Great Horned, longer since I've been looking for Saw-whets. After 5 hours of tramping through snow/ice/cold we found a gem! We would spot one more two days (today) later. So a major woohoo to add this one to my owl collection. However we also wanted to find a Long-eared but we were denied-

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Was on the last leg of the auto tour at the Sacramento NWR, and lining up on a red-tailed hawk in a tree, when I caught a huge shadow in my peripheral vision. The hawk was quickly forgotten as I aimed the jeep as gently as I could toward the tree this guy landed in.
