These were done across a bay from one side of an island which is half a mile or 77km or so.

5D classic + Tamron 150-600 @ 300mm, F11. 21 horizontal images with heavy overlap to help create seamless stitches. The actual image is 27,034 x 2,191 or 59MP, and is 77 inches wide.

I didn't realize how many panoramas I have until I started sifting through some to post here. Here are two of my favorites from Iceland. Neither has too much of an interesting backstory and I believe both were stitched from 6 shots.

This was my honeymoon and we drove the southern portion of the ringroad. We stopped on the side of the road when we saw this farm. I am having a hard time remembering the location of this photo, but I believe it was near Skogafoss.

A park near here after a few inches of snow. I think this was 3 photos.

Very nice image. I confess I never heard of MS ICE. I may have to give it a try for fun. I have that 14mm (branded as Rokinon). It's kinda fun to play with. I do see a little tilt in the reflection of the center building that I don't see in the others. Did you notice that?

Thanks Lisa! ICE is Image Composite Editor from Microsoft Research. It's free and generally does a good job... I use it to stitch 20 image Milky Way panoramas without much trouble. There is a bit of tilt with the centre building now that you mention it... might have to do another edit!

Curious... do you have Photoshop/Lightroom too? Just wondering if you compared the panorama stitching in those with ICE and if so, how they fared. That's the test I was going to do with it. I watched the 2 min ICE demo video, and it looks pretty neat.

I've been watching this thread for a few weeks but haven't posted a pic yet, so here are a couple from me. I think this was a 5 or 6 image stitched in Photoshop. I'm trying to find a good solution to allow for zooming in on the image. What are folks' recommendations here?
