A poor quality shot as it is from a reduced shot i had previosly posted on the small sensor section, its been us scalled aswel so the quality is complete rubbish, the original was far far better;-)a

You were there a little before me but I was on USS Haddo (SSN 604) from '81-'85 out of San Diego. Even after serving on other class of boats I always had a soft spot for.the class I qualified on.

The leading ship in photo #1 is not a carrier, she is either HMS Bulwark or Albion which are Landing Platform Dock ships (LPD), a modern version of the old HMS Fearless and Intrepid assault ships.
