Feb 09, 2016 16:36 | #2 I like the lighting - bright & clean. Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

gonzogolf dumb remark memorialized More info | Feb 09, 2016 16:42 | #3 The reappearing hand is bothersome. Usually for thos pose you want the arm in the frame so the hand doesn't just appear out of nowhere.

48 octa slightly high right (see catchlight) white reflector down below casting up. One light clam shell you could say. That's a white background btw. I come here for your expert opinion. Please do not hesitate to critique or edit.

Also got rid of the hand. it looks fake. i think you need to blur the background, i'd go pretty heavy especially for a head shot, no way the background would be in focus for that composition. second the selection is too sharp, try duplicating the layer and then and slightly blur the one underneath to soften the hair edges. a decent attempt, you just need to make it look more natural. Canon 5d mkii | Canon 17-40/4L | Tamron 24-70/2.8 | Canon 85/1.8 | Canon 135/2L
