As we've seen before on this thread, the A6000 is a handy piece of kit to have on the baseline of a basketball game. I didn't miss my Canon bodies or glass one bit.

I am soon going to upgrade to the 6300 but hope to convert this camera to IR.

Meanwhile.... have to love what you can get hand held with a $100 ebay lens (Tamron 200-400) Shot manual... the lens is in a canon mount and the comlite adapter works at 200 but not above so these are manual focus.... love the help from peaking

Ha! You must be referring to Pink Floyd. This image would fit right in with some of their album covers. Nice shot.

Taken at NZ Breakers vs Melbourne, Australian NBL game.

Kids played pre match followed by the main game.

I used my a6000 with a Fotga adapter and my Canon 70-200F4L. I chose this lens over the Sony 55-210 because of the constant F4 against the F6.3 of the Sony. I missed a lot on the auto focus side of things, but came away with some ok shots. Should have swapped lenses at half time and tried the Sony with the improved tracking, but was worried about the amount of light.

Bit noisy at iso 3200, but happy on the whole.

One of my favorite weekends of the year is coming up. The Daytona 500 offers plenty of excitement and great people watching.

Fans are allowed on the track prior to the race for driver intros

Took these last month at the Chattanooga Aquarium, fun fresh water/salt water aquariums if you ever get the chance to visit.
