The light is quite "strong" here but for this product I think it works well. Would you mind revealing how you lit the scene?

Did you select the buns or was it the stylist/chef? ;-)a

my editing on this one is a little different for food, i wanted it to be a bit more vibrant and fun looking. I think three lights total. As for the buns ha i got lucky, the first set looked great.

Raw cakes produced without heat treatment of raw materials of plant origin. No trans fats, no sugar, flour, eggs, milk or any raw materials of animal origin. Free of preservatives and artificial colors and flavors.

Two from our trip to Asheville a few weeks ago. Free food at Sanctuary Brewery's beer launch party and then donuts at Vortex Donuts. 5Dc + 35mm f2 (the old one) for both.

That was the last dish in a 12 dish in one day marathon for my wife and I. We took a food course at the local college and that was homework. We spent all day cooking and beautiful ng our own stylist. I should of used a little more dof. I think by then my eyes were out so of focus it probably wouldn't of mattered much anyway. :-D

while I agree about the DOF, this is nicely done! Reminds me of the photos in my Modernist Cuisine books. Certainly impressive for end of a long day homework!
