My daughter and I are making a Monday road trip to L&D14.
She's shooting a 70d with a Tamron 150-600 and I will be armed with my 7dII and 100-400II with 1.4xII. I will also have a 70-200 on my 6d in case there's some up close action. We can borrow my old 70-300L as another choice (benefits of selling to a good friend!). Should we take that as well or should we be ok?
She has an SL1 and a 55-250 she can use as well.

I think you'd be fine with what you mention at first. With the Tammy, 100-400II, and the 70-200 you'll be covered.

Heck, don't want to have to haul around too much stuff. :p

That's exactly what I was thinking.
My daughter is a very independent and capable photog for 14 yrs old but using a new camera and first time with tripod and gimbal so I'm sure I will have to "assist" quite a bit.
If we end up with a couple keepers each I will be happy, it's more about the journey and the one on one time. She's the youngest of 3 so not many one on one opportunities.

You are well covered with the equipment you mentioned. Eagles are here. Hard to get an accurate count since some have started roosting in the trees across the road up on the hill to the west of the parking lot. I would say we had between 15 and 20 working. I know we had eyes on at least 13 at one time. If they are tossing fish, they will fly close. I had my 500 and it was very helpful for the distant shots and depending on the crowd, it does help if you have to take a place a bit further from the action. Hopefully the weather gives you some nice skies. Had sun on Friday afternoon, Sunday sun until about 3 and then really high thin clouds came in and cause a bit of havoc with the evening light. Today, lightly snowing. Enjoy the time with your daughter.

Here are few from my second round of edits from L&D14 this year. It was a short season but still enjoyed seeing these amazing bald eagles. I've enjoyed seeing all of the images posted so far this year. Great work guys!

Wonderful stuff!
My daughter and I went on Monday. It was a dreary, dark gray day but we had fun. I'm just getting edits done and have some up on my flickr but can't post them here from my phone. Hoping to get back sometime with the sun out.
