Yeah, this bird was there first.

Interesting read but No relevance what so ever to the pic i shot, like i said with a basic cheap cam phone.

P.

I was alluding to the 'fairy' being placed in the shot, rather than being added by a clever bit of photoshop editing.

Odd things do show up in photographs from time to time. I took this a number of years ago. Sunny day, no fog, smoke, steam or anything else in the area. None of the other photos I took showed anything unusual so I do not consider it camera or lens malfunction.

That is the smoke from Tinkerbell having a toke on the weed.

Re the first shot you posted: I think the Title Fairy was following you around, seeing that you had a camera. You obviously didn't do anything to piss her off.

A little more serious take on the original photo. Very cool that it looks like tinkerbell, I'll show my daughter. But seriously, what it really is overblown highlights of a leaf. There is another one on the branch above it to the left.

Now wait just a second. Aside from the prominent Tinkerbell we also have what looks to be a Butterfly or a B2 Stealth bomber and a little Man or Woman running along the branch. A lot going on here in the wood!

All the light leaking ideas are great, but how can you explain the branches going behind from left to right etc, that gives the object a form infront of said branches.

The funny replies are hilarious though:lol:

I think this subject/picture will have to be "put to bed", its to inclonclusive and if it was something special is down to the mindset of those looking at it, rather than any technical or weather produced scenario.

Some things are simply put into a perspective of - either you have an open mind or you dont, a moment like when i caught what ever it was in the pic are a personal and special moment, and until you have experienced the same - you will not understand how it feels.

I am still glad i posted it even though it was in the whole trashed and just laughed at - oh well never mind worse things have happened at sea:-)

I thought your photo got some fair criticism. Overall I say go back and reshoot with one of your good cameras. Watch out for booby traps though...

Sounds a lot like mental masturbation to me.
