I like the pose - the space between arms and body is perfect. It is just something I have started doing with bridal portraits if it can be done without looking fake - ie fixing the dress to lay smoothly against the body - it can be done very quickly with liquify and then if there is a fold in the dress such as this type of dress, the Clone stamp can work very well. It is either something you want to do and think it looks better or not - it is a style thing. I have found that if she really likes the picture, which this picture has great light, then if the dress looks perfect, she, mom or dad, or husband may want a big canvas print.

I did this in 45 seconds to give you an idea - I could make it look cleaner for sure with another 2 minutes.

Much improved. Takes the focus off of dress issues and back to her face where it belongs.

AHHH I see, thanks for the tip! I will probably be doing that from now on. Now that I can see it, that does help and looks better. This was my first bridal set ever.

I would love to see you with a high megapixel camera - your photos continue to knock it out of the park

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Congrats on your first wedding.

It wasn't until I started to do weddings that I started really using PS and using the small little tools to fix the little things that when removed really concentrate the eye on what matters.
