Feb 16, 2016 18:32 | #3387 One of my favorite shots of all, of my "ausky" (husky x Aussie) Diaz. She is 11 but was 6 when this was taken. I want to blow it up and print it on canvas or maybe pearlescent paper or metal, can't decide. I love this dog so much, adopted her in 2005 when she was several months old and she has been my constant companion. I had my dream setup gifted to me in 2011 (Canon 5D2, 3 L lenses, gear bag, etc) and unfortunately the body and my 16-35L were stolen from my ca.r. I had to sell the rest of the lenses as I couldn't afford to replace the camera. I was (still am) devastated. I now borrow my grandpa's cheap Nikon D3100 and I use his 24-70 lens mostly, but have a 50 1.8 for it. It's a downgrade but I am so appreciative that I have any gear at all to work with. One day I'll be able to get my Canon back, maybe the 5D3. I hope. My dog is my ultimate muse and inspiration, she's what really took me from hobbyist to "doing more" with my photography and being an artist helped tremendously as I can take my artistic skills in Photoshop and translate them into my photo editing.
