7d2 with flash and 100-400II in one hand, flashlight in the other, I finally got this little guy to pose, after he interrupted my grilling. Thank good ness for IS and flash! But I was in such a rush I didnt even extend the lens the full 400 mm.
This is a crop with a red eye fix...

I actually caught something transiting across the moon. Up on the top, there's this big black dot. At first I was like, "WTF?! DEAD PIXELS!?" Then I looked through my series of photos and saw it moving across.

Not sure what it was/is. But thought it was kind of cool. Perhaps a GIANT balloon. Or just a UFO in the literal sense (not necessarily extraterrestrial).
