Great images, thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much!

#4, the back lit elk is a powerful image. Good captures across all of the images.

Thanks Jerry, I have been trying to learn how to take back lit images, especially with wildlife, and haven't had too much opportunity, but this worked out pretty well for my first try I think.

All very nice, but #4 is outstanding and really grabbed my attention. Can't wait to see more! John

Thanks John. I'm headed to the Park for 3 days in the Morning... hoping to get up close and personal with some bobcats, fox, and wolves this time around.

Amazing!

What part of the park were you in. Also it was to my understanding that Thayer don't plow in the winter, did you take a snowmobile tour? How did you get in the park?

The Lamar it is the only area of the Park that I plowed. I drove from my house, which is an hour and half away. Snowmobile tours are expensive but fun!

Add me to the list loving the back lighting on #4, but great shots all around! You must have been pretty close with the 5D at 105!

Just reserved for Memorial day and need to rethink what gear to bring.

Memorial is great. The last weekend before it gets real busy! If I had my ultimate choice, It bring a 16-35, a 70-200 and a big lens like a 500 or 600. However, I don't have a dreamers budget. I do think a mid range zoom is great because some of the wildlife is pretty close, as in right out the window! Good luck over the memorial day weekend!

Never seeing snow in my life and then open up here and see a shot that I have seen on the tele.
It was a sort of wow moment for me.
Its a classic shot in my books and then scrolling down to see the other shots.
Really like them all.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.
