Some day heldGaze! I'm not really a surf shooter so it's not too high on the list. Headed to Tonga in August for two weeks to swim with and photograph the Humpbacks =)

haha PixelPusher I wish. The surf industry is definitely a world of who you know, and I don't know anyone directly. Surfer specifically uses primarily staff photographers, so a local Pe'ahi shot would likely go to Zak Noyle. He's a good guy, deserving. Can't complain, not really my area.

Thanks Glimmerman, that's my favorite as well. Got to love the sunrise light out there.

Thanks everybody! I just sent off the first one to be printed in a 20"x30" in metal and the 2nd one as a 40"x60" triptych and all of them in smaller sizes (5x7, 8x12 and 12x18). I do local art shows 3 days a week and they'll make for nice displays.

Aloha!

Lyle

Seriously awesome shots; that first one really is a jaw-dropper. Second to last is really great, too

Incredible shots, and the photo cut into thirds works really well.

The first shot is fantastic, and scary has heck.

I grew up surfing in California and visited Hawaii many times. The power is just beyond my level of understanding (winter surf).

Great photo.
