Hmmm. I thought this thread would have a little more action in it. I know there are members out there that have these.

I've had mine a few months now and I can say that I am still learning the neat effects of this camera.

One such incident was while sitting in the balcony at my daughters dance recital. Rummaging through the menu settings I came across this neat little feature.

I had to switch the camera off and back on again because I didn't know how to get out of it. Now I know how to do that.

Here's another great capture from this camera (processed with Silver Effects).

Maybe it's because there are far too many "Unite" threads already and people who want to show off their images post them in the "Photo sharing" section?

Or... this post was made right around the time of the huge software upgrade here and it got lost in the shuffle... There are probably only a handful of people with these cameras as apposed to the MANY who have Canons. The Unite threads really aren't that redundant since it's camera (or lens) specific.

.....

You don't say what feature it was that you used. That's an interesting effect that I assume was produced automatically in-camera?

I'll have to look when I get home. I believe it was a multi exposure. Ever time you take a picture it asks if you want to take another or stop.

And it was done when shooting RAW. Not too many extra features are available while shooting RAW.

OK, thanks, Cameraman! I found it, tried it, but have to say it's a feature that's so fiddly to use that I'd probably have to re-read the manual before using it each time, so I doubt if it will get used much if at all. Probably easier and more controllable to get the same effect in processing multi images using layers.

Yeah, I basically just stumbled upon it so I would also have to look at the manual to recreate that and like you said, it's probably not something I'd be eager to use again.

Nice shot but the EXIF Data on Flickr says it was shot with a Nikon D810...

It looks like I am the only photographer in the forum that has Lumix S5 camera.
