Not scenes of nature, but realisticish. 3 shot brackets in Luminance HDR and further tone-mapped in RawTherapee.

Haven't had cause for an HDR treatment for a while, but the interior of old junk vehicles are an excellent use for it. This shot is reminiscent of the interior of an old ice cream truck I posted a while ago.

While on the patio yesterday enjoying a cookout with friends, I spotted this shaft of light going straight up as the sun was setting. It lasted long enough for me to go inside, grab my camera, put it on the tripod and take a few AEB exposures.

Merged and tonemapped through SNS-HDR Pro 2 Alpha 3 then refined using PS CC 2015.

Nice. Light pillars don't occur too often. I was lucky enough to capture some images of one a couple years ago...really a neat sight.

Thanks. This is the first one I've seen. Too bad the scenery wasn't a bit better though.

Here's a closer look and a different image using only two exposures this time...

+1. I like the crop version as well.

I believe those are called Sun Pillars. I've read that they are caused by the sun reflecting off ice crystals in the high clouds. Sounds fishy in your region, but the pillar doesn't lie.

I believe this was with 6 bracketed shots. Processed in Photomatix and then Lightroom 5.
