If you traveled through middle America any time during the 20th century you were likely to see a barn painted with a Mail Pouch chewing tobacco ad. Most of them are gone or fading like this one now. At one time there were thousands of these. The company paid to paint your barn with their colors. I should have moved my truck for the first photo. The car belonged to the owner of the barn. I wasn't expecting to ever post it anywhere.

I just took another set of photos there today only this time there were no cars in the way. The colors didn't seem to want to match up. I guess it's the difference in the summer and winter sun. Here's one of the shots I took today.
