Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This weeks the theme is Posable. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

If you can POSE it you can POST it...

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Monday Sunset and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

I like that silhouette, Clare! Are those pipe cleaners wrapped around the figure?

Thank you. :-) Yes, they are pipe cleaners. I'll post a lit image later showing them, but I ran out of time earlier before getting the lighting right.

Working with what I have right now. That doesn't mean Amazon won't get an order though. This mannequin is hard to pose, but I'm kinda happy with how this came out. Working between rain showers today.

LOL. I have a feeling this is going to be another good week!

Nice silhouette, Clare!

I don't have anything special yet. But I was in the park today and one of my little buddies there was in his usual spot and gave me multiple (oh!) poses. A very posable little fella.
Just two shots that I like. Light kept changing from minute to minute. In the first shot light was perfect. Not so much in the second, but I used the 300/4 with the Canon 2x II TC for the second shot and I'm quite pleased at how well it did.

And I promise I will do something else with the theme later this week!

LOL. Me too, Kody. But Lisa beat us to it. Now we all have to think of something else that's posable! :p

Very nice Levina! Great sharpness on that with the tc.

BTW, if you haven't gotten your LED panel light yet, I got an email that Adorama is having a flash sale on one for $79.95USD. I don't know how long it will last, but check it out here (external link) if you want. I'm contemplating it myself.

Thanks very much, Kody and Lisa.

Thanks for the hint and the link, Lisa. Unfortunately it's not a really good idea for us in the EU to buy stuff in the US. After customs and taxes and what have you have been added items are always (and often significantly) more expensive than if we buy them here.
