I've seen good reviews for the Rokinon/Samyang FE. I think Nikon's widest FX fisheye is 16mm which isn't really all that wide for a FE IMO

Ok, Thanks.
I will look for infos about the Samyang 12. As far as I know it's also cheaper. I do want to save as much money as I can on this kind of lens because I'd be going to use it only once in a while.

In that case, the Samyang FE's are the best option for you

Developed a problem with my 750...the shutter/mirror sticks open and "ERR" appears in the top LCD. You know instantly that it sticks by the sound and no picture. The camera will not function at all, none of the buttons function and the camera is "locked" almost as if the camera went into the lockup for cleaning the sensor. The only way I can exit this sticking is to turn off the camera, take the battery out for about 10 seconds, install the battery, the "ERR" is still there however when you press the shutter button it returns to normal. This happens once in while but sometimes twice a day. I take only about 20-50 pictures a day and do not need it for a career. I am close to a year so I will probably send it in maybe after it sticks. Could be just mine since no one else has reported this problem.

I've installed the update and am trying it out. One of the things that the update is supposed to fix is:

Quoting Nikon
"- In rare cases, the shutter would not be released when the user attempted to take photographs in movie live view."

Which is not exactly my problem but maybe this will correct mine also.

The one that Russ is talking about was released 2015/11/26 according to the firmware site. The only other firmware update I saw was regarding lens distortion control.

Hi guys,
An idea has been haunting me for a cpuple of weeks; I was saving money to get a Fisheye lens but lately I came across taking photos of birds and, I have to admit I like it. So instead of buying the above lens, it occurred to me to purchase am aps camera.
I am inclined to get a Nikon D7200, only body as I already have the lenses, and use it mainly for its crop factor in wildlife and birding while the D750 would always be my first body for travelling, landscape, architecture, portraits and indoors.
There is also the D5500 which would let me spare some money but the viewfinder is smaller.
The D500 is coming out, but being my second camera, I would not want spend so much.
What do you think of pairing a D750 with a D7200?
Thank you
