I stopped in the road and shot a photo of this car from across a small field. I can barely make out the emblem on the back fender which says "Super" I believe. But I can't match it to any car I know and I haven't been able to find it online. I would have gotten closer but I would have had to climb a fence to get there or go knock on a door and I wasn't interested in buying the car.

Kind of resembles a '55-'56 Ford Fairlane. How much do they want for it?

I don't really know. I didn't walk over to see. Those Fairlanes are still being made in Australia I think. They've been around since the beginning of time I think. My first car was a 1963 Fairlane.

BTW it does look like a 1956 Fairlane. Nice call.

LOL, My first was a '63 Impala. I loved that car...Miles of make-out room in the back seat.

Depending how much they want for it, it could be a steal for someone good at restoring. It appears to be in not too bad shape from the photo.

I don't know. Neither the trim nor the wheel well cuts match a Fairlane. The trim is mimicking the Chevy Bel Air, but that's no Chevy.

Good catch. But I don't think that Belair-esq paint scheme was ever offered on on a Vauxhall.

Rare, yes, but this photo shows a similar paint scheme:

Also, the Victor was admittedly based on the Bel Air

Wow I would have never got that. There are some Fairlanes with a very similar front grill as this one but not all of them and I never found one that said Super on it. The Vauxhall is a perfect match. I've never even seen one before.

I'm glad you guys figured it out! I don't think I've ever seen one of them.

I believe the wooden bumper option was only available through the aftermarket. Chris
