I can't find anyone who has the 5DSR in stock. Bummers! Any suggestions?

Sorry... I do not.

This was one of the reasons I went with the 5Ds ... I didn't want to wait and I'm glad I didn't... very pleased with the "S" model.

No problem at all. In a positive note I was not aware of Canon producing a mk4 5d. Perhaps I'll just keep waiting and jealously watch you all enjoy the 5dsr. :)

I would definitely pick up the S but, I don't want that feeling of what if. It's ok I can wait.

Nice camera and I've owned it for three months, but it's now for sale. I love the resolution of it but find conditions need to either be perfect or use additional lighting. Going over ISO400 you still get usable good images but lose the benefit of the cameras resolution. It's not a camera I find I want to keep with me, and the faithful 5D3 remains by go-to camera. I do love the new viewfinder with all the information it can display incl the vertical/horizontal level, but for limited ISO high resolution images I have a Pentax 645D which is less MP but better image quality, in my opinion. 5DS (and probably 5DSR) are definitely studio cameras. I don't even find landscape images to be much better than the 5D3 or even the 1DX. There is more to life than megapixels!

Interesting comments about the high ISO and resolution. I have three landscape shots on the wall shot at ISO 800 and 1600 printed 30x40 on canvas that look (IMO) amazing. Tons and tons of detail in the images. I had the 5D3 and wouldn't have been able to capture the same scene or print with such detail. I don't think it's limited to studio or portrait work... I've shot all kinds of subjects with it without issue at a number of ISO ranges. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.. interesting perspective.

Still enjoying the camera... if you are in the market... well worth the investment.

A few recent shots.
