Picked up this secondhanded beauty yesterday, its working a charm. My sneaking skills however..

Heavy crop, the hare was about 100 metres away from me, not disappointed.

Was at a local park photographing waterfowl over the weekend. About 100 yards away a woman and her daughter (I assume) were blowing bubbles. Every so often, one would venture out into the water.

Punished the 7D today by making it find subjects that are almost impossible to distinguish from the background. Except for the heron, that is.

Just playing around with the 1D lln and 400. Wanted to see how sharp the combo is.


Not bad for handheld and no IS. Man I wish they would put IS on this lens
