Thanks.
Close, it was a large soft box to my right and an IKEA roller blind behind. Lit the blind with two speedlights just plonked on the floor and shooting almost up and 45ยบ in with their bounce cards up.

I have no problem with it.

My only comment was going to be in the first portrait, the very extreme eye angle isn't great.

Thanks for the input, never thought of the eye angle. Everyday you can learn something new :)

basically you never want to show that much of the whites of your eyes - it doesn't look good - thus either looking straight out the window looking off reflectively or you have to turn the chin slightly more to the camera to avoid the pupils coming out of the severe corners or the eyes

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

It is not the job of the members of this forum to pass judgement over the behaviour of other members.
If you see something you don't like, something that should not be on the forum, REPORT IT.

Then one of us mods can take a look at it and take any action if we deem it necessary.
