and a thousand points of light.

And now, for something completely different...I said goodbye to this old friend this past week. My back would no longer allow me to keep it. It was my "mid-life crisis purchase" and with it went my mid-life I guess.

This red thing is serious. What's your favorite? Fiesta? Candy Apple? Dakota? BTW, my color palette is limited to vintage guitar colors.

The Jeep was Flame Red, which was renamed a few times over the few decades. It's always been my favorite color of Mopar Vehicles. When I think of vintage guitar's I think of pearl and candy colors. Do you collect them?

No way. It's an irrational market, but great if you got in at the ground floor.

Moose. Remember? Kinder, gentler, cleaner?

Consider me chastised

But in my defense, these guys just set me up in ways that make it difficult to resist. It's their fault, really. I need to hang out in the Lady Photographer Thread; they could be a good influence.

It's true. Whenever I see that you've posted here, all I see is bullseye.

I have a couple of Petros guitars (acoustic) left over from when I used to make a lot more money than I do now.

I've toyed with the idea of selling one of them to fund a 500 f/4 IS II. My wife is against that plan, for some reason.

From what I've just found about Petros guitars, you would be buying the lens and getting a huge chunk of change back. I do like acoustical guitars though. The wife might have a good point.

Jay,

The problem is... my two Petros guitars each have a unique voice... both of them are amazing. I don't play as much as I used to... so I wouldn't mind selling the more expensive of the two. But my wife loves the sound of both guitars.
