Three speedlights, one of which is ttl

A boot (trunk in the US) full of light modifiers in case the weather is bad and the formal need to be shot indoors.

Spare batteries, memory cards, AA's, juice, snack bars, change of clothes, a towel for the one day in the uk when it's really hot, cleaning stuff for lens and camera, and a smile. Oh and the guest list for organising the formals.

While it isn't for weddings per se, I also have a Vello wireless trigger in the bag for group shots where I am in them (Personal family events, weddings etc).

I then have a lightstand bag that has:

1x 43" collapsible shoot through umbrella with cover
1x 60" shoot through umbrella
1x Westcott Apollo 28" softbox
Assortment of creative gels
Gaff tape
Gorilla tape
Several A clamps of differing sizes
1x Justin clamp

I also carry a Manfrotto MT055CXPRO4 055 Carbon Fiber 4-Section Tripod with the MHXPRO-3W X-PRO 3-Way Head in a separate bag, and a 5-in-1 reflector.
The tripod only comes out if taking shots where I have to be in them, or if I am planning to do a composite where the background is very blown out and my flashes can't overpower the sun so I expose for the background and then use my flashes to light the subject and then slip the people shots into the properly exposed background shot.

A thinktank airport international case traveler case. It holds two cameras, six lenses and two speed lights.

I use a thinktank backpack for the extra gear ( which stays in the car).

I use a pelican case for my lights. My four stands are simply strapped onto my pelican case with bungee cords.

When I fly on assignment, I use a soft case for my light stands, but it only holds three stands so I make do with one less stand. If I'm shooting a wedding on location, I'll pack my lights into a large suitcase with my clothes instead of taking the pelican case.

What bag do you use to carry all this?

I carry a lot of stuff - extra lenses and batteries, light stands, lights and umbrellas, backup camera, tripod, blah blah blah. But I can usually get through the entire day (except for the altar shots) with a Canon 5D Mkii, a 24-105mm f/4 zoom and a 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom, and a Quantum Trio on a Turbo battery with a Fong Lightsphere. It's that simple.
