2016 King of the Hammers

This was my 5th year of watching this awesome race down in Johnson Valley. If you ever have the chance to go, it's well worth it. I'm still going through the photos but here are a few I'm happy with but I'm still trying to workout what other lenses would be better suited for where I was sitting.

Waiting for more I've always wanted to go - maybe one year in the near future.

Great shots. I've attended a few times as a spectator.

And I'd like to point something out to all of the people who think that they need the latest & greatest camera body. The shots above were taken with a 10 - 15 year old 20D and are fantastic quality. Just saying...

Great action shots. I wish we had this around our area but we don't.
I live is a quite flat area so to get to a hill is over 3 hours away.
But I have sen these on the television and loved watching it.
But I really think it would be much better being there.
