That's Crater Lake, correct? Interesting that the sky and lake have different stars. I wonder if you could do the same the process you did for the sky on the lake as well. Though I really like this photo, it's beautiful.

Yep, that's Crater Lake! It's the same stars, this is a 10 image pano all with the same exposure settings etc. The stars are just elongated because of the reflection angle, it looked like that with the naked eye. I'd never seen anything like it before, pretty amazing!

But thanks, I like this edit - there's a few other edits on my Flickr from the same night
