I got the A7Rii mainly for 4K video. I love the ability to crop it which I can't really do on the A7s.

Mike, consider this option carefully, it's really handy. Unlike photography, the video quality is about the same in crop and full frame mode, so you can get the benefits of the APS FOV for video. Due to the lower resolution, don't think the a7s2 can do it.

Sony A7riii/A9 - FE 12-24/4 - FE 24-240 - SY 24/2.8 - FE 28/2 - FE 35/2.8 - FE 50/1.8 - FE 85/1.8 - EF 135/1.8 Art - F 600/5.6 - CZ 100-300 - Astro Rok 14/2.8 - Tamron 17-28/2.8 - 28-75/2.8 RXD, 70-200/2.8 VC

Miancimu (Mianzimu) emerges from the clouds at sunrise, as seen from halfway between Upper and Lower Yubeng, Yunnan province, China.

A7r and Sigma 120-300.

Wowser! It's a lot of weight, but in the right hands well worth carrying the 120-300mm.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

Seriously impressed by the sharpness. Is this a recommended model for a beginner?

Twisted my Dad's arm into getting a new weekend car.

Toyota Mark II JZX90 Tourer V, top spec one with only 58,000kms on it.
So 2.5 straight 6 twin turbo, ABS, traction control, etc etc.
It actually looks brand new, amazing that it's actually a 20+ year old car. Goes like the clappers!

Looking forward to your MC11 review so that I can decide if I want it ;)

I will certainly post my experience with the adapter and lens once they both arrive.

First test run with Samyang 14mm, quite liking it.
Looking forward to having more of a play this week.
