Hello folks,

I am in a very long distance relationship... thousands of miles apart and many time zones. I was with my fiancee last summer and we did a 'photoshoot'
with not the best result as you can see. Underexposed and all.
I know that unfortunately I don't have a raw file.. ): So i don't know if this can be fixed at all...

I need to get the invitations printed soon.. So here I am asking you experts for some help if possible. Or just the to tell me that its unfixable and I should have been smarter at getting a picture..

Thanks alot,

Harry

Heya,

Hard to work with, without a RAW.

You could try to correct all the issues, which will just look overly processed. Or you can work with it and just make it into something that looks like a bit of a retro washed out look from years past, etc. Depends on your tastes.

Here's an example of just cleaning it up, bringing up the brightness, and playing with curves and color.

Really, if you use your image, just print it small and it won't be as bad.

when i think things are noisy, i tend to go black and white...the good thing is, the image will be accompanied with your names, so it's not like they'll have to analyze the picture to figure out who it is...they'll know who they are looking at

You might consider doing some way over the top processing. In any event, may your marriage be long and great.

A bit sloppy on the editing, but here's my take on it:

Hire an artist to illustrate the image. A pencil rendering of this would make a handsome invitation and a cherished keepsake.
