Nice to see a bit of a smile in that last shot.

Does anyone use a screen protector for the back monitor on this camera? I thought I had scratched it the other day but luckily it was just a grease steak and a microfiber cloth took care of it.

Cameras: Sony α7R II, Canon 40D, Samsung Galaxy S7
Lenses: Canon 11-24mm f/4 L, 24-70mm f/2.8 L II, 50mm f/1.8 II, Sigma 18-200mm
Telescope: Meade LXD55 SN-6" F=762mm f/5, with a 2x Barlow T-Mount
Retired Cameras: Canon SD300, Nokia N95, Galaxy S, S3 & S4
C&C Always Appreciated

Thanks, added to my Photography Gear wish list for my next purchase. I'm putting together what I need to complete my kit. Some stuff needs to be replaced after switching systems.

Any recommendations on a flash, battery grip or wireless shutter remote? I'm just starting my research on each of those items.

Hopefully someone can help with these things since I don't use them except a wireless remote...I use the cheapo Foto&Tech IR remote. Flash and battery grip not in my kit any more.

I first learned about expert shield from you. I have it installed on both my bodies. Great product.

Flash - nissin i40
Battery grip - sorry don't use them
Wireless remote - look for the small black one on Amazon that's about $10. It has 2 buttons on it and works a treat. For bulb one press starts it and the second press stops it. For a wired intervalometer I use a neweer one but any that say a7 will work on a7rii

In the lower left of this shot of mine, you can see the two remotes I have. The one with orange print I believe is the one Eddie mentions but I like the one to the right of it only because that red button will also start/stop video recording remotly too. I don't know offhand what the prices are on these two remotes but am sure the black/orange one is cheaper and may be all you need.
