I recognize the exact location of #5, I think I stood right where you were :)

Lovely shots! It's great to see what its like in good weather, the couple times I've been out there it was raining or very gloomy out.

Yes the weather plays a big part in Landscape photography and the North of England dosen't always deliver 'good conditions'.....but the spring and summer can reward you with some stunning scenery.
For me its one of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles........Snowdonia (wales) and the highlands of Scotland are also breathtaking but much more 'rugged'.

Beautiful images! My grandfather is from Patterdale. Your image make me want to visit the Lake District and my grandfather's home even more. Thank you for sharing your images.
