I see a lot of threads posted around these parts containing photos that don't necessarily fit the theme of successful existing threads (headshot & primes lens threads come to mind). The photos in these threads are often great (some times not so great) but often languish into obscurity because well...there's only so much to talk about on a single image.

So let's collate some images in the one place that don't fit with the others. Shots taken with zoom lenses instead of primes. Full body portraits instead of headshots...you get the idea. Here, I'll start.

An excerpt from a shoot I did on a few days ago. 6D & 70-200mm f4L

Im not sure I totally get the idea of this thread but heres a zoom + full length

Comments about your photo: nice dramatic light. I think I would have used a kicker but thats just me. Whats on the ground that is giving that bit of reflection?

The idea of the thread is to get folks to do what you just did, post an image and talk. Nice colours and makeup BTW. ;)

Hurley Pro Board for reflection. I toyed with a kicker but wanted to keep it simpler. Here's another shot from the same session, showcasing her 'other side'. 6D + 70-200mm f4L

In my (always) humble opinion all portraits are worthy of their own thread and would offer those posted here as examples.

These would be great if the eyes were in focus. Shooting people with glasses can be damn tricky though. -?

Thank you. My resize and upload abilities could use some work. The raws are much sharper.
I like your shots btw.
