You can have your Kona Brewing. I'll take Kona Roasting (especially Kona Joe) any day. (I don't really drink beer. Never acquired a taste for it, but I love me some good Kona Coffee!!)

Nice shot too!

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

Good heavens, you're all so quick and creative! Already some great images posted. As usual I'm still pondering "glass... glass... hmmm..." :p

I confess I've never tried french press coffee. I have friends who swear by it, but I really like my drip maker. Maybe one day I'll try a press cup of coffee.
Kody, thanks for that explanation of the watch. I have a friend who is really into watches, and he said he hadn't heard of Sea-Gull either. I sent him a link to your photo and your explanation. :-)

How about a reflection on glass? You can see the wavy lines of the glass in the reflection. It's that time of year now when the dandelions are coming out. They're the bane of most homeowners who want nice yards, but they're great for photos.

Awesome! What is the square background? Is it a tablet of some sort?

Ok.. More great lighting!
.. and as Kody asked, what is that background, it seems to be glowing...

joayne,

the weather is looking more promising today for some Museum shots. Although I'll be taking photos outside as I'm not about to pay to go inside, especially since I don't think they allow photography. ;) I ALMOST stopped this morning on my way in to work to get some shots but the light wasn't quite right, would have been behind most of my subjects and would not have turned out well. Even though there was nice color in the sky.

Thanks, Jo & Levina. I promise it's real. That was lit from the side by a bright flashlight focused only on the seed. I did photoshop out dust on the glass though. I try to get it clean and dust free, but spots ALWAYS show up! :-o Converted to b/w in Silver Efex Pro.

Very cool. Is that on a lighted tablet/device? I was thinking about some refraction stuff too.

Thanks, Kody. I don't know if he knows about it. Knowing him, he probably does. I sent him a note to ask him. I'm not sure how often he check his email. His wife and I are good buds, so If I don't hear from him, I'll get her to fuss at him to reply. :-)
