I went outside to get the mail about about 530 this evening and apparently all the woodpeckers in the area had called a meeting in my yard and all the surrounding trees. I heard them everywhere and caught these two jokers with my camera. All 7D2 plus Tamron 150-600.

I have had a series of unfavorable initial contacts with these guys!!! I love them but they sure are cranky, like me!

Quick grab early this morning while I was out on the back deck trying to locate some woodpeckers I had been hearing. Heard him first then grabbed a couple of photos before he flew off.
