There's your issue

I should have said "on to" not "into".. here is the link. Why do you feel like that is the issue?

I've found these adapters from Xume (external link) work great. Get an adapter for each circular ND filter (or other filters) and one adapter for each lens. Screw the ND filter into the adapter once and forget it. Just snap it to the magnetic adapter on the lens. It's a strong magnet that won't hurt your camera in any way.I read about it years ago here before I had any ND filters. Just bought a set and can't wait to try them out.

Christine

I have considered, but considering the lenses I use, it's currently a no go. I have to adapt circulars to 67mm at the moment. Still considering my long term lens collection, I'de say I'm 50/50 done with my most desirable lenses.

Got my filters in the mail today!

This is my first shot. One that's good enough to show, anyway.

Yeah that would work. Mine aren't truly that bad anymore. When I shot the 5Dc primarily it was horrible since it did not have a cleaning cycle, the 5D2 is much better with that. I still get a few but nothing that LR can't find easily with their little tool. If it gets dirty enough I'll wet clean the sensor.

a couple years ago my 5DII was so bad I was getting dust spots at wide apertures showing up in the bokeh...it had to go to Canon. The local shop couldn't get it clean...

That's a great looking shot Martin!

On another note guys, I think I discovered why I'm getting that bad reflection on the Zeiss 15 with the Big Stopper. As you probably know the filter is actually the same width as the outside diameter of the lens itself. As a result (and because the gasket doesn't come to the edge of the filter) there is light leakage between the filter and the lens on the sides of the holder that do not have rails. I'm sourcing some material now, and will add additional gasket to the filter bringing it out to the very edge of the filter. I'm pretty sure that will resolve it. We'll see and I'll let you guys know.
