Tried to push my T3i shooting baseball last weekend. I don't usually bother with ISO 6400 but I figured I'd give it a shot. Standard noise reduction in Lightroom CC.

Could get slightly better shutter speeds and ISO 3200 switching to 100mm F2.

I don't think the shots are bad but you could possibly have done better if you used ETTR. I found that my Canon gear meters/shoots about 2/3rds of a stop underexposed. You would have lost some shutter speed which might have meant losing some shots to motion blur. I don't know what metering mode you were in, but evaluative could have been challenged by the stark contrast between shirt and pants.

Agree, especially with the shot with my son standing still (for once :-D). Though I'm not sure I'd have much of a shot at the play at the plate with a much slower shutter speed. That's usually why I pack it in when my older boy plays night games at that complex (which is often), but after reading forums on this site, I figured I'd give 6400 a go.
