You will all be jealous of me because my latest purchase was a bunch of..... battery holders. Yup green plastic Powerpax AA battery holders - 3 flashes and two battery packs means I have quite a few AA batteries.

my plan was to get the 100-400 v2 first then the camera...caught a refurb sale from canon that I couldn't pass up on the 7d mark II. Real nice camera...

Just added a Canon 24-70/4 for the 1DXii. Bought it used from a poster here at POTN.
Wonderful lens.
Next to find a used Canon 16-35/4.
Those two with a 100-400ii will be my three lens kit for the pre-ordered body, along with a

Last purchase was a Lowepro Flipside Sport 10L. Next purchase will (hopefully) be a 500/4 II. I've got my eyes open for a used copy, but these are rarer than ivory billed woodpeckers from what I can see.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Just got a Sigma 17-50 f2.8 OS, and trading in some old lenses to finance a Canon 35mm f2 IS.
