I am still amazed at this little Rokinon 8mm fisheye. Picked it up for 120 bucks and it just rocks.

This is from the walkway under the spillway of a small dam.

on a side note I am 70% sure I am going to put the 6000 into a IR conversion when the 6300 ships.

now that some people have reviewed and have had the a6300 for a few days now its a hard decision to make between that plus extra money for lenses or an a7ii with the kit and 1 other lens(or a 6d but i'm leaning away from that since the tracking isn't great, and only 1 cross center point). Before they announced the release I was planning on getting the a7ii in the next month or 2 because prices are good now

I'm using Fotasy EOS-NEX which is all manual and I haven't upgraded to the new firmware. I'm renting the Metabones Canon EF-S Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter IV to test and will follow up.

Yeah I'm holding back on the A6300 for a while.
Cameralabs review was awesome..says its the first mirrorless that can compete
in AF-tracking with DSLR.

BUT back to the A6000. Anyone do the latest update yet?
If so please tell me the benefits.

I'm in the same boat, gonna wait. Pretty happy with the A6000, gotta say.

I sent back my A77ii, very unfortunate about the Steady Shot not working. Thinking very seriously about selling the Minolta 200 and settling for the FE 70-200, as much as I dig the images from the Minolta with all four Sony bodies I've tried it on. Got a lot of thinking to do, again . . . it never ends! LOL.

Mickey you're right, it never ends.....but it might depending on how the world spins :)

OK I did the update and tried the a6000 + Metabones T IV + Tamron 24-70/2.8
Poof the boss and better half was the guinea pig :)
The Tamron actually focused via the Metabones but it was at 24mm and she was less than 1.5 feet away.
Really just experimenting while drinking vodka after a long long work week. I wouldn't take the Tamron
and Metabones if I wanted wide with the a6000 but fun to play around with for a few minutes.
